1/350 Enterprise from Polar Lights, I've been waiting for over a year, now they tell me I'll have it in a couple of weeks.

Very nice!

Reminds me, I am working on a fiber lighted Battlestar Galactica ATM, and personally in a battle between the Enterprise and a Battlestar, I would give the victory to the Battlestar!

I had this discussion with High School friends back in the day! It was a multi-day discussion!

http://screenrant.com/star-trek-ent...a-brusimm-5140/

This site uses the remade Galactica (personally I enjoy the original series of both shows over their remake) as the challenger.

Think about it, both have 'warp/star drive', both have shields, but only the Galactica has Vipers that can get in close and dirty with the Enterprise!

Now in a hand-to-hand fight, Captain Kirk would indeed kick Adama's arse hands down!

Big Bird - Silver Spar Squadron

P.s. Commander Kane would indeed kick Captain Kirk's arse ;)

Fiber optics had not been around long at the time but I believe that's what they used on the original show for special effects. Pretty cutting edge at the time.

I wonder how long before these folks will mod the kit to operate the model in "fludic space"

Had a package waiting when I got home.

I think they put this sticker on just so people won't open them.

ParaGrafix has photo-etch detail sets for many of the sci-fi models today.

It may be helpful if you want to super-detail.
