I'm sure I've done something over the past 50 years of building rockets to equal this; as soon as I think of it I'll let y'all know. S. |
After you damage your Qualman Rocketry fin alignment guide removing it past the rail guide, let me know which one it was. I'll help you out.
Or, you could grind off your rail guide to save the fin alignment guide, but that would not make sense. Maybe leave it in place for added stability? David |

Base drag, woohoo! Kind of makes one ponder some new oddroc possibilities... |
Just take the Dremel and rout out a spot for the button to pass through. You're going to use buttons for future builds of that size anyway. If it weakens the guide too much, just lay it flat and reinforce it around the button cutaway before using it again. Of course, this can only be done after your session at the stupid corner is finished. :D

Oooh, Fin Alignment Guide fins. To make sure that they are on straight, I should probably make alignment guides for them too, such as Fin Alignment Guide Fins alignment guides. It's turtles all the way down. David Qualman |

Seriously, though ... can't you just unscrew the rail button?
