Go ahead...I don't care.

I don't believe my calls to my daughter, my grand daughter and my friends are of any national significance.

Actually, they are probably quite dull.

You still care, very much.

This is the sort of thing that happens when you live in a police state...

Nazi's don't wear jackboots anymore...

Later! OL JR :)

Yeah, I think the DNC discovered some years back that they were no longer needed in Lemming-ville, USA. Just say in a sweet voice and act like you mean it "We care for YOU!", and the masses gladly and blindly go along with anything that is said or done.

No jackboots required.

This kind of stuff just plain STINKS.
Total violation of the "Unreasonable Search and Seizure" clause of the U.S. Constitution.
This is a graba$$tic data mining expedition that U.S. Citizens should never be exposed to.
For once I would like to see a MAJOR BUSINESS tell a court their answer is "We REFUSE to comply with your nonsense", try and get the data !

This is Gestapo-like jack-booted THUG nonsense.

Curious that an English newspaper broke the story.

shrox 06-06-2013 12:16 PM

It is past the point of blaming any one administration.

Once it has begun in a country, it cannot be stopped, unless, like in WWII, other countries realize the threat and destroy that country.

We are now that country.

This whole sneaky "Super Secret" NSA court where they have to let defendants know NOTHING and corporations are forced into compliance with UNCONSITUTIONAL VIOLATION of the "Unreasonable SEARCH and Seizure" clause of the U.S. Constitution without letting clients know is pure, unabashed ABUSE of a NON legally EXISTING gov't power. No matter the stated goal, "data mining" unless toward an INDIVIDUAL they have a VALID warrant against should NEVER be legal. Hopefully this is brought before the USSC VERY soon.

Corporations should have an absolute duty to their CLIENT first and everything else secondary. The answer from Verizon should be either 1) yes, we will provide the data, but ONLY after we let our client know first. or 2) No way to whatever 'alphabet soup' agency is demanding the data.
