Firing a Model Rocket Motor Underwater
 
The guy at Warped Perception does it again. This time they rigged up a D12-5 and lit it off in an aquarium.

I would never had expected the ejection charge would do the damage it did......

That was cool!--especially the ejection charge blasting the side out of the aquarium! No wonder recovery systems take such a pounding.

The overall charge strength was part of it, but as a submariner you know that water doesn't compress and depth charges don't have to make contact to do damage. ;)
