FlisKits is proud to announce our newest kit the:

Decim8

Sister ship to the popular Alien8, the Decim8 is a sinister battleship from the depths of the Horse Head nebula. Striking fear into the hearts of all who would rise against her.

The model kit of the Decim8 stands nearly 40" tall and features an array of fins and guns, split tube construction, water slide decals and one of the most exciting and unique engine mounts in the industry!

This kit is now available for pre-orders with an expected ship date on or before 20-December!

Attached photo's include:
- Decim8 logo
- 3 views (top, profile, end)
- Image of the Decim8 leaving the vicinity of Devan-3 after decimating the outpost there
- Close up of the unique (laser cut) engine mount
- Overall photo of the latest proto type.

Whoa!

VERY cool design, Jim! Nice to see the sci-fi/exotic style birds again. Reminds me of the early 80's Estes heyday with those designs.

Way cool design, Jim. This one's a keeper! My order's on the way. ;)

The galactic arms race just jumped up a notch to a new level. What will be the USPF's response? :confused:

Each time I look at this ship, I see something new that I hadn't noticed before. You went very deep with the detail on this one, Jim. I approve. :D It looks like it is quite a lot of rocket for the price.

Thankl you much :) I'm rather proud of this one. Just wish I had the time to do a paint job worthy of the kit. All of mine (4 different proto's) are all still nekid...

Would much rather have nice painted pix of this thing with a back drop rather than my attempts at a graphical representation... But, such is life :)

There's a lot going on with this one, that's for sure. 11 fins to cut, 7 body tubes to cut (6 of which have slits cut into them to interlock them with another tube), 3 nose cones, an engine mount to die for and water slide decals...

Yep, a lot of kit for the money, that's for sure!

Needed to get something exciting out for the holidays and this one won the toss :)

So get out there and buy one! or two, or... :D

Looks like all the custom parts as well as the documentation is in so we plan on kitting them up this weekend with hopes of starting to ship on Monday! Here's hoping :)

We now have a nice batch of Decim8 kits in stock and will begin shipping tomorrow (Monday)! :)

I always get worried when I do an early announcement and allow for pre-orders. I normally don't do that but I got a lot of feedback requesting pre-orders, so I gave it another shot. We got everything done in the time frame we scheduled for and I am thrilled :)
