Two new auctions just started. Check them out retro and sci-fi rocket fans. :-) More vintage stuff to come (that's all that's left to go, really) :D

You know where to go. ;)

Went and looked and there is no listing of the rocket remains/ parts.

Have these been sold ?

would be interested in restorable lot, if available :D

PS - anyone reading this have any info on the 'Sidewinder" style bird ?

reason asking, is I have a near- IDENTICAL twin, in my vintage late 60's centuri lot I purchased last year ... thought scratchbuilt, but seeing a twin makes me think Desogn of the month, or published plan .
I also have a few other pseudo scale missiles in my lot, that look too well thoguht otu to be scratchbuilt, although the builder was very competent.
ideas ????

http://www.rocketshoppe.com/cgi-bin/auction.pl?item=51257032152 is the link for the lots (under built rockets) and I have the mylar chute listed under rocket parts>Other. The rest is still yet to come in way of parts and pieces.

And ahh ha~! Glad to know i"m not the only one that had trouble finding the side-winder type rocket. Does yours have the frame on leading and trailing edges like the one in the auction?

Oh but no, nothing's sold. The link but be having issues. Let me know if it's better now. :)

Not sure... looks like maybe, with cone swap ( note the MRC kit as shown has plastic cone, the bird listed is balsa ) .
My vintage one is definately balsa, and was directly out of an attic, wrapped in 1972 newspapers, so .... still thinking possible plan-pack, but no leads yet.

will try to get pics of my own bird.

Yep, could have sworn my nose cone was balsa. Had to dig around the attic. Found the rocket and sure enough, plastic nose cone. Oh well....the mystery continues....
