more estes kits on hold

Information has been sent my way regarding the following estes kits: cosmic explorer,reflector,super neon xl,magician and mini max. These kits will not be on shelfs in june as noted on some web sites. further more there will be "some time" before we see these kits at all. It is projected that these five kits will come out one at a time from late summer till year end. This information comes from a strong source. I am disapointed but not surprised. :(

Sounds about typical for the folks out at Penrose.
I will be REALLY surprised if we see ANY of the supposed "Classics" EVER, let alone this year.
My guess is they will be permanent "vaporware" !

Thanks Mike. We're glad you're here, Estes could benefit from a constant presence on the rocketry-related internet sites. After all, we're the guys with cash to burn. :cool:

But I'm sure I'm not the 1st to tell you that you've got your work cut out for you. ;)

A shame about the Saturn V tho, you would have sold a ton with the anniversary coming up next month. Oh well, maybe for the 50th - I hope I'm still around then. :eek:

Yeah, I can't blame them. As best I can tell, the stuff that has come out is still sitting on shelves.
