The X-15 on auction is a kit - the recalls are RTF .

I assume you are talking about the X-15? This is not the all-plastic RTF X-15. This is a kit that you build--has die-cut balsa fins, etc. Here is a link to the Estes 1988 catalog that shows it:

Thanx, I couldn't tell from the package. I had one of the original RTF X-15's about 35 years ago.

It's odd how I can remember it's fatal launch after all this time. Seems like it was just a couple of years ago...
