The title says it all.

I need the cash to finance the Scud B kits. ;)

I just need to build up my Paypal account is all.

I would never ask relatives for money. ;)

Why not take some pre-paid orders (with a discount of course)?
That's what Apogee did with the 1/70th Saturns a few years ago, to come up with cash for early production costs.

Man, I loved Furio. I wish they wouldn't have writeen him out of the script so soon.

Still the best made for TV show ever, IMHO. Band of Brothers would be a close second.

(sorry for the hijack, Gordon.) :o

Oh, I don't need that much money I have a sizable inventory of stuff.

I just need a few more "things".

I'm working on some other kits too and I have to "fine tune" the CAD drawing so I can laser cut some parts.

Sandman's kits are great, but I may have to contact Pauly or Tony for a small loan to afford one. :p

Here are a few pics of my almost finished Roachwerks Little Joe II.

I think it's fair to say no other Little Joe kit ever produced comes anywhere near the level of scale detail possible in this kit. It is a truly amazing kit.

Roachwerks kits are in a class by themselves.

Beautiful, Gus!! I'm on the wait list for Gordon's next run of LJII kits.

Here's a sample of the new laser cut tower parts.
This should make it a lot easier!

The parts will be square but they can easily be rouded off with an emery board.

The real test is to see if the laser can cut this! ;)

Probably a LOT better than I can!

What sort of material are you looking at?

I'm going to try 0.052" Bristol board.

It's heavy cardboard like centering ring cardboard...not the Estes stuff...the good stuff like SEMROC uses.

I get it at an artist supply store.

I will be experimenting with a few different thicknesses and maybe some ply.

Hey,

I'd like to be in on the next Little Joe II batch also. My next builds are Sandman Pershing I and II. I might even post the builds here.

My top five ways to fund Sandman kits are:

1) Second mortgage;

2) 7-11 hold up with my finger in my jacket pocket;

3) Whack an old-timer for his social security check;

4) Hustle doctors at the golf course;

5) Overtime, LOTS of overtime.

They are expensive, but beautiful. I have never regreted buying one -- even the ones a little beyond my present building capacity.

Sandman's LJ II is the one kit that I really want but have never found one for sale.
I did not know he has a "waiting" list for these.

Here's a (bad) photo of my Roachwerks BT-80 Pershing awaiting paint.

How bout posting a pic of your finished one?

Here's a couple.

On the composit shot, mine's the one in the middle. :)

The second pic is a BT-80 version and the third shot is the BT-60 flight.

The last pic is just a glamor shot that Eagle 3 took. :)

Here's my BT-60 version that I got a NARAM last summer.
You can't beat any of Gordon's kits. :D

Yeah, and those no-show union construction jobs can really run up the cost... :rolleyes:

The BT-60 is 16" tall and the BT-80 version is 25 1/2" tall.
