Today is PI day. PI= 3.141592653
So this A.M. at 9:26:53 I said happy PI day. No one listened. :rolleyes:

Hmmmm . . . .
You're not doing it right; we made two apples and a peach pie. Had fresh-out-of-the-oven pie and ice cream.
You've go another shot this evening. I bet they'd listen if you were holding a pie.

Don't forget Pi is a number without end. So if you add the fractional seconds after the seconds, this day was actually unique in the North American date format, to actually include the entirety of Pi. The next such example is 2115.
Eat pie for your appetizer, save room for dessert.

I was supposed to launch rockets at a Pi Day elementary school STEM event, but it was rainy AND windy yesterday. Total scrub.
I ran an obstacle race on Pi Day wearing my "Pi Day of the Century" shirt. Several
people commented on it and I got many "knowing looks" and half smiles. Good to
see so many geeks out and about!
