I got outbid on one of these the other day on E*^#.

Just happened to see it, and bid, since my brother had this set, back in the day ( not his first rocket, that was an Alien Invader, lol ).

Anyways, would be a neat addition to the fleet, an unusual generic bird.

Could easily be cloned, along with any of these 'starter kit specials' ( Star Trek, Star Wars, Dune, were there others ? )

anyways - this is not one that's posted anyplace ( I believe the Dune version is up, Star Trek is not ) .

possibly one kicking around out there that someone could scan but figured lack of interest ? or just never got to ?

if anyone could scan the wrap, please let me ( and Scott ) know - or if you have a wrap ( or builtup kit ) to part with, drop me a note :)

thanks for any advice / help ,

I think I've got one still in the box. Next time I come across it, I'll dig it out and see what I can do for you. I think I'll be in the attic today ;)

My bad. Turned out it's not the Star Wars Proton Torpedo but the Battlestar Gallactica Laser Torpedo. :o Sorry.

bummer... lol... but thanks ! :)

I think the Battlestar Galactica Torpedo is posted, iirc - that's one that looks like a Photon Disruptor with a Teros nosecone ?

The Star Wars one might turn up, or even Star Trek if someone has or finds one, I was looking at the Dune Guild Highliner again this afternoon and might have to try that, albeit with Skywriter fin units, not the 'correct' nike-style as the Kadet had ( I have one of those Kadet units left, might have to find a nice use for it someday :)

If anyone else comes across one of these Star Wars Torpedo's , keep me in mind ? :)

Heh, no, I'm not positive. Someone else had told me that was Dane's ebay name, but they could've been mistaken. Larry Rice would probably know Danny's account name. I'll ask him.

"Someone else" must've had a bit too much Leinenkugel .

I am positive that dane1945 is D. Sagstetter.
He won some plastic model kits I ebay'd a few months back.

Thanks. I'll edit my original message then so I don't give anyone the wrong idea. ;)

P.S. - Swap the i and e for the correct spelling.
