Decal in question is for the NASA Pegasus kit #1376.

http://www.oldrocketplans.com/estes/est1376/est1376.htm

I seem to have a scaling problem.

What I based my "correct" scale on was the Red stripes at the top of the decal sheet that go around the two BT-50 jet intake tubes on the sides.

Part "F" on the parts list shows it as a BT-50.

A BT-50 is 0.976 O.D. times Pi (3.1416)= 2.94". I made it a tiny bit longer at 2.96" for some overlap.

That shows to be correct on my decal.

Can someone verify this?

Hi Gordy I have 2.375 in the red bands on my original sheet. The Bt-50 is glued to the main body tube so you dont need to go all the way around the tube. ;)

That may explain it.

2.37"5 is pretty close to 80% smaller that 2.94".

Mystery solved!

Thanks!

Funny... in the parts list, "F" was the shock cord ;)
