I found some redwood in my shop got some hardware from my local iron monger (hardware store) and spent a few hours in my shop today.
This is what I came up with.
I included the plans in PDF (I think Jim Flis gave them to me) they are really simple to make if you are at all handy with wood and power tools.
If not well...
I can make some more copies for $25 each plus shipping if anybody wants one.
The original plans call for a 3.75" base (the one on the right) but that seems small. 4" looks better (the one on the left) but I can make either one.
I always wanted one and I think it makes a nice display base.

Oh, I don't include a blast shield (the old curved one would be neat!) or launch rod.
